Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful answers for shopping online, visiting the Wangaratta store, choosing gear, and looking after your My Slice of Life purchase.

1. What types of products do you supply?

We supply practical gear for making, baking, brewing, pressing, cooking, cutting, preserving, outdoor living, and home projects. That includes ingredients, equipment, tools, cookware, knives, accessories, and useful advice.

2. What are your shipping rates?

Shipping rates depend on the size and weight of your order, as well as the delivery location. You'll see an estimate at checkout, or you can contact us directly for a detailed quote—especially for larger or international orders. We currently offer shipping Australia Wide and international shipping to New Zealand only.

3. Can you help with larger orders?

Yes. If you're planning a larger project, fitting out a workspace, or buying several items at once, get in touch and we'll help with product selection, availability, and a fair quote.

4. What kind of warranty do you offer on your equipment?

Warranty coverage varies by product and manufacturer. Many items include a 12-month manufacturer warranty, and some equipment may include longer coverage. Keep your receipt or order confirmation, then contact us or use the warranty claim form and we will help confirm the right next step.

5. Can I get spare parts for your equipment?

Yes. We carry spare parts across many of the ranges we sell, including blades, seals, gaskets, filters, fittings, and other practical replacement items. If you cannot find the part online, contact us with the product details and we will check availability.

6. What is your return policy?

We don't offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases, but we may issue a store credit (minus shipping and a 20% restocking fee). Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery and items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Please note: Warranty claims are handled separately through our online warranty portal.

7. How do I know which equipment is right for me?

Our team is happy to help. Tell us what you want to make, how often you plan to use it, the space you have, and your budget, and we will help you choose practical gear that suits the job.
